New Business Form

Thank you for your interest in listing your business on Shop Noke! Fill out the below form to create your business listing. Once approved, your listing will go live! A few things to note –

  1. You can select more than one subcategory for your business to appear in. For example, if you are a bike shop that sells bicycles but also offers bicycle tours you can select both “bike shop” under the “Goods” category as well as “cycling” under the “Experiences” category. 
  2. Use the “About” section to share anything you would like to about your business. What you offer, the atmosphere of your business, the history of your business, why you (hopefully) enjoy owning a small business in Roanoke, etc. If you don’t have a physical location consider sharing the best way for customers to connect with your business. If your business is woman-owned, veteran-owned, or if there is anything else you’d like to highlight – share it here.
  3. The subcategories are a growing list. If your business doesn’t fit into one of the current options, let us know and we can create a new one! 
  4. Tags are very important! It is how users will find your business when using the search bar. Add anything that could be relevant to your business. Tags can include things like:
    • Products (sandwiches, wallet, bicycle, etc.)
    • Places (brewery, museum, bookstore)
    • Adjectives (Japanese, artisanal, healthy)
    • Variations (Sandwich, sandwiches, subs, sammies, etc.)
  5. For the featured image, do not use your business logo! Use a quality image of your products, food, activity, building, etc. We want exploring the site to be visually appealing for users. The featured image you choose will rotate through appearing on the home page button for the relevant category.
