Nestled in the heart of Roanoke, The Spot on Kirk is a lively hub for music enthusiasts. It offers a unique space where local and touring artists can showcase their talents.
In 2016, The Spot on Kirk started under the non-profit umbrella of Down by Downtown Music (DxDT), which fittingly is an annual celebration of Roanoke’s ever-growing music scene.
As a very special, much needed music venue, The Spot on Kirk has hosted over 500 shows within nearly a decade — and that’s not even including all the history from back when the joint was known as Kirk Avenue Music Hall! Attracting an eclectic cast of artists from around the world, and helping launch the likes of Morgan Wade and Palmyra, The Spot on Kirk is both a listening room and community center for all music lovers.
This charming room also serves as an event rental space for special events including private parties, meetings, screenings, and performances.
